After several unsuccessful breeding attempts the prior year, we decided to cover our bases in 2002. The result? Three litters back to back in the last quarter of the year. So, there won’t be any 2003 litters, and if you want a puppy from Bancyfelin this year, here is what we have to offer.

Dam: Ch. Rhydowen Bancyfelin Corwynt – “Tara”
Sire: Ch. Rhydowen Bancyfelin Chips – “Chip”

This litter was presented to us by our #1 Cardigan in Breed points, the beautiful “Tara”. The 1999 Pedigree Award Winner and Winner of the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of America’s top awards for most wins in breed, Tara produced the high quality dogs we expected.

Tara had six girls and two boys. As of April 1, there are two female show prospects left: Bancyfelin’s HMS Valkyrie and Bancyfelin’s HMS La Belle.

Dam: Ch. Bancyfelin Portia
Sire: Ch. Bancyfelin Stevie D

As the breeders of both the Dam and the Sire, this is our first “Bancyfelin only” litter. Portia finished her Championship as a puppy and was the result of a breeding of our Champion Bancyfelin Lady of the Rings to Ch. Rhydowen Bancyfelin Chips. Stevie D was a young Champion from a breeding of Ch. Bancyfelin Dilys to Ch. Rhydowen I Be Jammin NA.

Portia had three girls and three boys. As of April 1, there is one male pet puppy left: Bancyfelin’s Edward III.

Dam: Ch. Bancyfelin’s Rhydowen Berry – “Blackberry”
Sire: Ch. Bancyfelin’s Kentwood Legacy – “C.P.”

Our second “Bancyfelin only” litter was a first try for both the Dam and the Sire. As you can see from the pictures, the litter can best be described as very cute. Blackberry finished her Championship at eleven months and was the result of a breeding of our Champion Rhydowen Coeth of Bancyfelin to Ch. Rhydowen Red Baron. C.P. was a puppy from our very first Cardigan breeding. Sired by Ch Kentwood Luc and whelped by Ch. Kentwood Rhianwen (Dam of ten Champions), C.P. is a 100% Kentwood dog.

Blackberry had four girls and three boys. As of April 1, there is one male show prospect and two pet puppies available, one male and one female all as yet unnamed.
